Design is an item which is difficult to measure. But one thing is for sure, we have put a lot of effort into the design of the PBN.

Without doubt the design has been the most challenging and demanding area of this new product. We have, as  first priority tried to make the hull as afficient as possible. The tunnel has a particulare design forceing the air to compress on its way through the boat. And it is fitted out with two major steps to ventilate the flow of water with air.

The process of the design has been possible due to the big CNC machine monted at Djupevåg Båtbyggeri AS in Norheimsund. This machine has already performed well making the interior of the new opera house i Oslo.

With this machine we have produced several models of the boat. Every time we make a new model we see new angels of design and we make changes over and over again, until the product is perfect. 

All the pluggs are also made directly in this machine. It is almost unreal to see a hull of more than 45 feet grow out of a hugh pile of wood and glue.
