99 %The PBN is built of carbonfiber with core material, vinylester and epoxy as resin. For shipbuilding purpose this is the lightest and strongest combination there is. It is more expencive and complicated to use than other products, but to reach our goal when it comes to weight reduction and speed performance, there is no way around. Between the two layers of carbonfiber we have put a core of divinycell. The hull and the upperstructure and all other parts in the structure is made the same way. All parts are vacuum infused. This reduces the amount of resin to a minimum which also reducess weight even further. 

If we compare this way of shipbuilding with traditional fiberglass with polyester without vacuum infusion, we have reduced the weight on this project with more than 1000 to 1100 kg. This reduction equals a lot of speed and performance.
